INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPHY (WEEK 18)

TEAM_MEMBERS: Liberty, Melissa, Husna and I (first slot).

We are given the task to replicate two different examples of studio lighting and this is by far my favourite practice so far.

EXAMPLE_1:

Aperture: f/5.3

Shutter speed: 1/100

ISO: 200

A soft light was placed on the side of the model so the other side of her face would be darker. We have to position it several times to get the lighting right.

EXAMPLE_2:

Aperture: f/5.6

Shutter speed: 1/100

ISO: 320

The model had to face off-centre and the light was position at the same direction as her face. This was relatively close enough as the shadows under the neck are nearly the same. It’s just that the strength of the lighting needs to have little adjustments.
